What Does Classic Reports Do?

Classic Reports is a lightweight Chrome plugin that does one thing very well: It automatically clicks the “Switch to classic view” button for you on QuickBooks Online report pages.

How It Works

When you open or navigate to a QBO report in your browser, Classic Reports silently checks if you’re viewing a report in the modern interface. If so, it quickly finds the “Switch to classic view” button and clicks it for you — all behind the scenes.

It smartly avoids loops and unnecessary clicks by detecting whether you’re already in the classic version, only acting once per report load, and resetting its behavior once you return to the classic view.

Safe and Respectful Permissions

Classic Reports only operates on QuickBooks Online (app.qbo.intuit.com) and doesn’t touch anything else. It uses minimal permissions.

It doesn’t read or store your data. It just saves you clicks.
